Default Skunk2 test pipe (EM1)

if i put on a skunk2 testpipe would i be throwing a check engine light for my cat???????

Look up "test pipe kit" on ebay and you will find the fix. It's a tube that puts the 02 sensor away from the test pipe so it reads like its an oem cat. It just tricks it. like $15

If you are in any sort of area with emissions testing just go with a high flow cat... There might be a 1hp difference, if even that and with none of the headaches of running a test pipe...

There will probably be a bigger difference if you are running a turbo set up with a ton of power.

i have a skunk 2 test pipe in my eg, no cel's everything ran fine when i swapped my header,pipe and full exhaust in, but my o2 esnsor is in my header downpipe

i have an em1, and yes it will throw a code. and obd2 car will through a code if you delete the cat. weapon r sells an angles O2 cell elimator that works fine. i use it on my car with a passwordjdm test pipe and the light does not come on
