Re: Skunk2 Sport Shocks And Coilovers (mortificationrock)
-YA TAKE THE OLD SHOCKS OUT
-USE A WRENCH AND MAYBE HEX WRENCH TO LOOSEN NUT ON TOP OF SHOCK TO RELEASE THE MOUNT HOLDING THE COIL AND SHOCK TOGETHER.
-SINCE YOU HAVE NEW SHOCKS SLIDE YOUR NEW COIL OVER TUBE OVER SHOCK WITH ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT INSTALLED
-SLIDE COIL OVER THE SHOCK . IT WILL SIT ON THE ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT PART
-USE THE OLD TOP PIECE OF OLD SHOCKS TO MOUNT ON TOP
-TIGHTEN DOWN AND THROW EM IN.
-MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIDE HIEGHT SET EQUALLY ON BOTH SIDES (UNLESS YOU WANT TO LEAN LIKE A CHOLO )

***ALSO PUT THOSE O RINGS OVER SHOCK FIRST. THE COIL OVER SLEEVE SLIDES OVER THOSE O RINGS. THEN PUT COILS AND TOP MOUNT ON. THEY ARE TO MAKE A SNUG AND QUIET FIT ONTO SHOCK BODY

By the way you wouldnt happen to have a pic of how your car looks w/coilovers do you?And also what measurement do you recommend i should leave all the coilovers at when i install it first? 1",2",2.5"?Sorry if that didint make sense Meaning ride height! You said to leave them all equall but what would you recommend to leave them at?

-What NEEBS said is correct. What i am regarding ride hieght to is left to right side, have the front left side and right side equal. as far as front to rear set it to whatever you like, but make sure if you do the LF 1" lower you make the RF 1" lower also.
-Also NEEBS said set the ride hieght you want first before aligning. this is true. Now if you lower this car and want to keep your tires wearing evenly i would invest in a camber kit front and rear. This is to keep an even tire wear.
-sorry no pics with these on. The coil overs i have pictured was a previous car i installed on. But like the coil overs say they're adjustable to fit the ride hieght you desire.
