Skunk2 short shifter + ****

ight well tonight i got my skunk2 shifter and ****, i have a nut in the box that my **** is in and cant quite figure out whys its there, and the spacer lookin thing that came in the box with the shifter itself, can someone please tell me how i use these when i install it? thanks for your help!

The spacer is for the part where the shifter connects to the stabilizer bar.

The nut goes onto the shifter, under the **** so that it counterthreads the **** to keep the ****'s numbers facing you.
