skunk2 intake manifold ??
hey i am planning on getting a skunk2 intake manifold/throttle body for my Y7. in the description of the itm it says that it requires modification to fit non-VTEC engines. if anyone coould let me know what modifications it means i would appreciate it.

you will have to get a throttle body from an automatic d16y8. thats the modification cause the y7 is a downdraft thottle body and the intake manifold is most likely a side draft like the Y8

Re: skunk2 intake manifold ?? (civictildeath)
thanks
yeah i am swapping to the y8 intake, tb, and itm, so there is no other modification that i would have to do for all that to fit, right?

If you haven't already bought the y8 TB, just buy the y8 throttle cable rotor/spring and the throttle cable bracket/stay and transfer those to the y7 tb and s2 IM, they're exactly the same except that on some 6th gens the iacv is on the IM and some on the TB itself (depends whether your car is auto or manual). You'll need to extend some coolant wires and wires on sensors.
