Default Skunk2 IM & VAFC.

Can't you just bolt this on and get gains?

Someone was telling me that you can lose midrange power unless you have a VAFC and lower you VTEC engagement?? Is this true? How could you lose power by adding more flow? WTF?

the design is to flow better at high RPM. which will cause a loss at low range. It is a compromise. All in all, low end loss will be minimal i'd imagine. Erik Aguilar (sp?) still runs a gsr manifold, sooooo that should say something for how good oem honda is.

With a VAFC you should actually take time and tune your car. not just lower vtec engagement.
