Skunk2 IM help im lost!!!! (DOING IT NOW) B16A2
Well i decided to put in my skunk2 intake manifold today but time flys by when u work alone, well im in my garage right now and im kinda lost .....i have no clue were my IAT (intake air temperature) sensor is at? (guessing in my stock intake?)
So what do i do with that IAT hole? and were do i conect that hose to?(picture below) I see the Skunk2 doesnt have the same place to connect it to. Im guessing i need a T, but with what other line do i connect it 2? If u want to warn me about something that im going to need or an other problem im going to incounter let me kno that way i can get it fixed by tommorow
if u can use these pictures to point out what hoses i have to link or plug

On 96+ cars, the IAT sensor is located in the intake tube. I dont it see it on the intake on the car in the pics. When i ran that manifold with my b16, I just plugged the hole in the manifold. If it is not in the intake tube look around the harness that runs the map and IACV. It might be just chilling somewhere.
On the ITR the IAT is located in the manifold where that hole in the manifold is. Its a different style sensor. Civics have it in the intake and integras in the manifold. The skunk pro is based off of the ITR engine. That is why the manifold has the mounting spot there.

I just cut a piece of metal with two hole on both side and screwed it down. You hafta put a little silcone around the edge to keep it from leaking. I just used a piece of tape for a couple days!! If it leaks it will cause your car to idle high.

Re: (Rojas209)
well on a friends car he got an intake without the sensor in it. then on that piece we just took it off a car in the junkyard it plugged right up. so i guess u can do that and take out the one in the intake or just plug it.
