Default skunk2 im ???

im installing a skunk2 im to my D16Z6 and ive noticed that that is one lest water pipe conection than on the stock one, its the one that runs from the left hand side of the flange round to the main (metal ??) water pipe at the back of the block.

is it just a matter of just blocking the pipe off where it joins to the metal pipe ?

Pics would be nice.

If it is the one that I am thinking of, it sounds like the the main radiator inlet.

Don't forget to sand down the head really well too.

It looks like it's there to me...

Looks like there is a small brass tube in the same spot on the Skunk2 IM.

I think he's talking about the brass one that goes up vertical where the rubber hose is on the z6 manifold.

/\ hes right

i would prefer it if someone who has actually fitted a skunk2 im to a d16z6 would answer instead of these people guessing as it helps no-one.

Dude, you asked for help and we are giving it to you. I have installed a Skunk2 IM on a d16z6 before and I can tell you it's really not that difficult.

Here's the answer to your question:
