skunk2 dual bend shifter + energy suspension shifter bushings issue
Ok so today I recieved my skunk2 dual bend shifter (product number 628-05-0090) and my energy suspension shifter bushings (product number 16.1102G). This is going into my 97 coupe ex 5 speed (d16y8). Im look at the bushings and they seem way too big to fit on the provide bolt from the skunk2 shifter. So I try see if everything fits together (washer, bushing, bearing, shifter in between, bearing, bushing, washer, screw) and by the time I get to the screw im am more then out of thread to screw it on and this is even without the shifter linkage. So my question is am I doing something wrong I double checked the product numbers and made sure they are for my car. Any ideas?

The energy bushings go on the shift linkage it self. One where a shift rod attaches to the transmission and the other behind the shifter in the linkage attaching it to the body.
