Re: skunk2 coilovers on a EG (junkyard racer)
why is it ricey?
anyway, any picture of a coupe with coilovers could be assumed to be skunk2.... none of them are goin to look the same since they are coilovers.
try to stay away from skunk2 coilovers... they are hard as ***** to adjust..

I have a coupe but its not a EG coupe, sorry. Mine is just a 93. I dont think they ever made a EGCoupe. I know the Del Sol is a EG, and i guess could be called a coupe. Is that what you ment?

Not true. Only when there at the very bottom and get stuck there are they hard to adjust, any other position and there good to go.

Yea but that makes sure your coilovers dont come loose. But i know what you mean, sometimes they have there moments.
Ground control are good but a little on the bouncy side.

http://www.cardomain.com/id/ejcivic386 there is a few pics of my old coupe on skunk2's
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=963034 <--has a pic of a 4dr on skunk2's that is slammed about all of the way
these are not on stock wheels but at one point i sold my rims and rode on stock rims with my coupe and it looked fine. mad sleeper
no matter what coilovers you get, you can get just about the same drop on any of them, you just have to set them to your liking. just make sure u dont get cheap knock-off coilovers or you will be putting yourself up for a shitty ride....also if you want the best ride possible, get some nice aftermarket struts and mate them w/ the skunk2's
