Default Skunk2 Camber Kit...will I have clearance problems?

Hello...I'm interested in getting the Skunk2 camber kit...the ones that replaces the whole arm, but I'm not sure if I'll have clearance problems. I've heard that the arm could hit the fender/shock tower if the car is too low. Here are pictures of how my car is sitting right now...

Think I will have clearance problems? Sorry if you can't really tell by the pictures...

Thanks in advance.

im not sure for an Si but i have that kit on my 93 hatch, and i had the car too low and hit a bump in the road and now i have to dents at the top of my shock tower. they go through into the engine bay. but its not that big of a deal to me. it didnt hurt anything really.

I don't want to be a thread pisser, but I really wouldn't recommend the Skunk2 arms for one simple fact: the ball joints included suck, and unless you call Skunk2 directly, you can't get a replacement (and even then I've heard that they can't or haven't been able to get any from their suppliers).

I didn't have the kit on for more than 6 months and the ball joints went bad. I ended up replacing them with OEM ones, I had to cut apart my stock arms to get them out, then grind down the hat on the top so it would fit in the skunk2 arm. Not the best solution, but hopefully these will last a little longer than the junk they include with the arms.

If you're really set on them, you shouldn't have any problems on your car that you wouldn't have with stock arms. If your suspension is fairly soft you might reconsider, but you should be alright if your ride is somewhat stiff.

This might be a stupid question but how do you know if your ball joints are bad? My skunk2's have been on the car for almost a year and I don’t seem to have any problems with them except the clearance issue which I took care of by raising my adjustable a little.

ball joints are bad when you see grease coming out of the torn boot. or the rubber boot coming off or if the ball joint starts to make weird sounds.

I hope not!

I had the skunk2 kit on my Ek and was dropped pretty low. NEVER had any problems with the kit hitting anything. Just the boot tore after 6 months. I made a thread about it if you care to look: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=346142
