Skunk2 cam and valve spring setup
Hi hows it going, so i just picked up a new set of skunk2 pro series stage 2 camshafts and i thought i got the pro series dual valve springs as well but they are the tuner 311-05-0350. So my question is can i still run that setup i know skunk2 guys dont recommend it. FYI my complete setup is GSR block bored .25 over not sleeved but i do have a new formz block guard LS Crank and golden eagle LS H beam rods with RS machine PR3 spec. Pistons B16A2 head ported bronze-magn. valve guides with skunk2 high compression valves skunk2 1st gen intake manifold skunk2 titanium retainers and then i was going to run the pro series stage 2 cams and skunk2 valve springs. ya but the way they said it was;
Technically the Tuner Series valve train is functional with the Pro Series camshafts, however it is highly unrecommended. The longevity and performance of the motor will be a factor to worry about as well.

I wrote that, and you forgot to add the rest of what I said. You asked what could go wrong and I told you that floating a valve or cracking a spring could, and more than likely will happen.

Thats three instances in bold print of people telling you no, and one telling you what will happen. So by all means, go ahead
