Default skunk2 cam?? Need answer asap!!

here is my questoin.. i have a b18c1 w/ endyn 12.2-12.8:1 , not sure that exact compression.. the head was milled 5 thousanths just to clean it up , i just got my skunk2 valve springs and retainers installed, and i am putting the cams in tommorow stage2.. will i have enough clearance??, the guy at skunk2 didnt sound to sure.... thanx for any input.. and please no negative comments on anyparts that i have that you dont like.

just throw 'em in and fire it up... whats the worst thing that could happen? Another rebuild? Just remember... you can always go out rollin on DUUUUBBBZZZZZ!!!!

I haven't heard of any problems so far, but if i were you I would still go ahead and clay the clearances just to be safe.

i think it should be ok, since you have the valvesprings it should be strong enough to lift the valve back up, but it will be close to hitting when the valves drop....it really should be a problem considering the all motor gurus run like 13+ CR and wild cams....thats my 2 cents.. check out the NA forum at clubsi. sam is a big help

yeah i just got off ofthe phone w/ Larry at Endyn and he said their pistons have big valve relief cut out and i would be fine as long as ididnt advance the int cam more than 7 degrees.. thanx for everyones input ...

bout to go adjust the valves and fire this bitch up!!!!!
