skunk2 cam in d16...this is bullshit
 

ok- i posted about the problem i had while trying to have my skunk2 stage 1 cam installed in my z6 a lil while ago. here is the link to that for some background information... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=654966

update....brought my car to my mechanic again. he spent a over 3 hours grinding down the back of the oil journals in the head , with no result. the fuggin cam still makes contant!! so now 2 things have become evident to me. 1- im looking at alot more money in labor to keep tryin to make it fit, and 2- this cam just plain doesnt work in the head... so i call skunk 2, explain my problem. they must think im lying and crazy. i told them i want my money back cause when it all boils down, this product which is marketed to work in my car does not, and its bad enough ive lost a few hundred dollars in labor on this whole siutation, that i cannot get back. they take my info and phone #'s and tell me they are gonna converse about it and get back to me. this was 3 days ago and still no call. im pretty sure they dont give a crap. now, im stuck with a cam i paid 400+ dollars for and i cant use. im gonna be forced to sell it on ebay or something and hope to get as much back as i can. what have i learned from this??? i shoulda took my friends advice and gone forced induction long ago. what do other people think of this situation? feedback is appreciated on this, cause i feel like im stuck in a craphole situation..

stay on em. call back every day until you get an answer. there should have been some kind of warranty or return policy. i would worry the hell out of em until they do something.

if anything, get rid of that cam, turn to either exospeed or a zex unit. i bet somebody on this board is willing to do a trade of some sort. and for the forced induction comment, i say dont listen and do what you feel.

yea im gonna call again on monday i think. as for the forced induction comment- i had nitrous that i was gonna use and then turn to turbo once i got a reliable daily driver(which i did not too long ago), so this just gave me the final straw with n/a
