skunk 2 intake manifold question
so i put in a new skunk2 pro series intake manifold...there was one sensor that i could not get to fit into its location on the new manifold....i don't know what this sensor is called....so i just left it out hanging behind the mani, now whenever i stomp on the car, it makes a grinding noise coming right behind the firewall where the driver sits.....
here's a pic of the sensor that i am needing to know of...

That's the IAT. You need that. Honda has a speed density system. Meaning that in order to know air/fuel curves, the ECU needs an IAT reading.
Call skunk2 and ask them to help you with this issue. You need that sensor. No questions asked.
Dont know about your grinding noise. Maybe something is rubbing?
If you cant figure it out, it may be wise to go somewhere to have it fixed.
Also, the year, make, model of car, and the type of engine/year of engine will help to mention. Not sure if that pic was of your actual engine.

Re: skunk 2 intake manifold question (B serious)
hah....sorry, its a d16z6....so i do need that IAT plugged into the intake manifold? well i looked at it and it has a threaded hole and not a clean one like in my old manifold....i tried putting the sensor in the new hole, but it doesn't fit....? could i just run the IAT into my intake tube and extend the wiring...?
