Default skunk 2

i have a 98 ek hatch and i was wonder if the skunk 2 lowering springs are good for avrage handling and daliy driven? pictures comments and other choice please. i can also get them for 133$ so if you can find a bet set then the skunk 2 tell me.

it depends on what you want , i would reccomend a decent pair of coilovers so you have the adjustability to do what you want

well i heard coilovers are bounsy as hell. so i thought i would jsut go with the springs. and i bet there arent any good set of coilovers for 133$

Depends on the spring rates you get. Higher the spring rate, the bouncier without proper dampening.

You probably won't find a good set of coilovers for $133.

why bother putting springs on stock shocks.

you may as well just chop your stock springs and be truly ghetto.

I would personally just spend the extra money and get coilovers. I have skunk2's on my delsol(coilovers) and I love them. I was pretty skeptical at first too b/c of what everyone says about coilovers but im happy i got them. And like instrument says....putting new springs on stock struts is like finding a hot nun....useless.

i have the skunk2 coilovers and love them, nice and stiff but their not too bouncy.

Actually it would probably drive better with cut springs then aftermarket springs on stock shocks. Get shocks first or save up and get both at the same time. No sense in doing it anyother way.
