The situation --99 ls motor in a 1994 civic ex
Ok i have been doing some research on this issues of putting a 99 motor(obd2) in a 92-95 civic ex (obd1).
First option 1 --Using OBD2 LS HARENESS
Some people say that the it will plug right up to my shock tower harness with no issues using the obd2 harness. As for the ecu i could get a obd1 ls (Don't have) or get my p28 (have )chipped (reprogrammed). On the other hand i could use a obd2 ecu (don't have) an get a jumper harnness -obd1 to obd2 (don't have), that will promp me to have to wire up a second o2 sensor (don't want to ).
***Please bear in mind that i don't have the the LS obd2 alternater, but i do have the complete 94 civic ex engine and harness.****
Second option 2 --- using OBD1 92-95 CIVIC EX HARNESS
Since i have a complete d16z6 obd1 harness (motor an distributer no good) i Could use this harness. The civic alternater will no line up on the ls motor, so since i don't have a ls alternator i could just buy an obd1 ls alternator which should plug in with out cutting, but will it line up on the 99 ls motor? I will have to buy an obd1 ls distributer (since my civic 1 is no good) an should plug right up. As for the injectors i would have to cut the obd2 ls injectors wires an wire it up to my obd1 civic harness( don't want to cut). Or on the other hand i see on eday that they are selling obd2 to obd1 conversion injectors wire harness. (Search --Obd2 To Obd1 Conversion Harness Honda Civic Integra) An only cost $30 for all 4. There for there will be less cutting.
As for the ecu i believe i could use my p28 an get it chipped. Will there be any other wires or sensors that i would have to cut or tape off? As for the o2 sensor i would have to cut an extend the wire.
**** Please bear in mind that i'll be doing a LSV in the near future.
**** Trying to cut least wires as possible.
Given the two option an that i want to do a lsv in the future should i use the ls obd2 harness or use my obd1 civic ex harness.
Will there be any other wiring issues that i will run in to also.
Also I'm looking for e complete ls tranny or gsr(tranny, shift linkage, axles, half shaft, starter, mounts, speed sensor) i have cash in hand - please no grinds an no issue , low miles.
Thank you in advance on the advices. both b20 and Honda-tech

You can use an OBD1 B-series alternator. Reuse your old OBD1 Z6 injectors (they flow the same as the 1.8L injectors) And either use an OBD1 LS distributor or a conversion harness, or cut and splice, or swap the Z6 CYP/CKP/TDC sensors into your OBD2 LS distributor. With the civic harness you will need to cut and lengthen a couple of wires (IAT sensor for example) using the OBD2 harness you will have to add the wires for vtec, its about the same amount of work either way.

Re: The situation --99 ls motor in a 1994 civic ex
I just swapped an ls in my 93 ex and used obd2 engine harness everything plugged right in. I was amazed. Then I ran a p75 obd1 ls ecu no cel's ran strong. Last weekend slapped on a b16 head and only wires I had to cut were the orange vtec wires on the shock tower (mine are tucked) and had to extend the coolant temp sensor now Im ls-v
