sites to get b20 motor!!!!!!!
hey whats up i was just wondering what some good online places to get a b20 from would be if you guys know of any that are good. i am thinking of going b20vtec but i think i would have to sleeve and build it first. Also i was wondering if you guys could put in some input on what exactly you would need to get a b20vtec running strong that will last well as a daily driver. and also what it would cost for the buildup. the basic idea is i am looking get get my 00 ex running 13's with natural aspiration and street tires. what would i need to do. thanks for the help.

Re: sites to get b20 motor!!!!!!! (CivicTypeR00)
http://www.hmotorsonline.com for the b20, maybe they can get you a b16 head too.
b16/ITR tranny
You won't have to sleeve the engine.
Get some eagle rods with upgraded rod bolts, 12:1 CP pistons, skunk 2 or ITR intake manifold...
you could do 13s with ITR cams, but you could also go more agressive such as skunk2 stage 2 cams, toda Bs.
JDM ITR header should be good enough for you...
You will need upgraded valve springs, retainers, and lots of other little parts. Since you will have the engine apart you should get all new bearings, GSR/ITR oil pump, etc.
ALSO, something for tuning such as a SAFC or hondata, this will REALLY HELP ALOT! If you can afford hondata, it is definatly the way to go. http://www.hondata.com
Do some searching in hybrid, tech, and all-motor.

Re: (JDMTyPeRHaTcH)
Oh yea, putting a VTEC head on a b20 block isn't a bolt on affair.
Search under Geoff....he sells dowl pins that make it possible to put the vtec head on a non vtec block without machineing.
You will also need the oil lines....
