SIR tranny problem...

Default SIR tranny problem...

hey i got a problem with my tranny just put in my new rebuilt motor and my tranny doesnt go into 3rd gear sometimes... it will go into 3rd easily and some times i have to try twice...do you think i have a blown tranny...i just changed the oil in it and put 3 qts..can anyone help

3 quarts is defiantly too much. Required is about 2 quarts or so. Issue might be with the linkage or with bent or broken shift fork

if thats the problem and i buy it from the dealer does it take long to put and a lot of work

just drain and refill...it is not that difficult..just get under the car and u will know which one is drain plug and which one is refill... 2 quarts are right amount

i just did that and the problem keeps going on...i kno how to drain n refill ...cmon man
