Can somebody tell me where I can get an SiR lip for a 96-98 online. The only place I've seen it is from Mr. Heeltoe.

Re: SiR front lip (Nsane1)
I have been looking for one of these as well and have been told on here that they are difficult to find. After I little searching I found this out for myself.
Inline four used to have them but not any more.
http://www.inlinefour.com/jdmsirekfron.html
Like you the only place I have seen them is from Mr HeelToe but I dont have 200$ right now to spend on a lip. If I find anywhere Ill be sure to post it up.

the usdm front chin spoiler is the exact same lip. it is just cheaper. I got mine from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for about 90 shipped, I am not sure if they carry them anymore. If not there try any honda auto parts store.

^that is the sir lip
It is no longer available - discontinued.
Some places may have backstock (very very very unlikely, since theyre snatched up when found) and sometimes stores get a couple that go for outrageous prices ($200+).
The 99-00 ctr lip (replica) is pretty similar, and can be found for the original cost of the sir lip (around $90).
Good luck...you probably wont find one.

You wouldnt happen to know the exact part number of the front lip? I looked under bumper on that site and the picture shows what I think the lip is but I dont see the corresponding Part Number or Price. How long ago did you get it off of there?
Any help or direction would be appreciated
Thanks

It doesnt matter what the part number is - you cant get it through the dealership anymore because it is discontinued.
However, if you just want it for the hell of it - 08F01-S04-100
The og cost from the dealer was like $90...2-3yrs ago, when it was available.
Trust me...you wont find one at any dealership (I tried last summer for a spare)
I know its still listed at HAP, but when you finish the ordering, you will either get stopped 1/2 way through saying its unavailable, or you'll receive an email from them in the next day or so saying the same thing.

Thanks again

I looked at the 99-00 CTR lip and liked it but it looked like it would need to be painted where as the 96-98 SiR/USDM OEM lips where almost ment to be used without being painted. Its not that big of a deal its just painting = me spending more money. I suppose CTR lip + Paint is prob cheeper than the overinflated prices on the SiR lips now.
I suppose there would be no fitment problems with the 99-00 CTR lip on a 96 then since you are suggesting it?

Their fitment is only as good as the replicas quality (ie jdmshit). If it comes in abs plastic its fine as-is - flat black paint would also work nicely.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
a 99-00 ctr lip will NOT fit a 96-98. Done tried. And the 99-00 ctr style lip looks horrible on a 96-98. The opening on the front bumper is a lot wider than the opening on a 99-00. If anything I will go w/ the 96-98 CTR style lip. Here's some pics if you don't believe me.

To me it doesn't look like it fits right.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
So, back to the real question. Does anyone know where to find an SiR lip for sale?

Re: (Nsane1)
How do you figure that the 99-00 CTR lip does not fit right on the 96-98 (picture looks fine to me?)
And to answer the real question, the only place I have seen is Mr Heeltoe. I searched for a while last night online and found nothing. Im going to try and call some Honda dealers around me sometime this weekend and see if they happen to have one left now that I know the part number.

Let me ask everyone this..... are the 96-98 Civic EK4 SiR front bumper lips really in that high of a demand? Because I know it can still be purchased pretty cheap (under $200) for a brand new piece w/out hardware, but mostly from overseas. I just told the guys last night to put the EK4 SiR lips that we were making in polyurethane lower on the list of "lips to be made" mainly because of this. I guess after we run a few other ones first, I can always bump the EF4 SiR lip back up to the top. Just seeing if there's really that much of a demand for them.
