SIR 1 B16 into a Civic Cx *done soon
*Built 1989 B16 from abacus racing*
http://www.abacusracing.com/
specs- top secret
well I can tell you compression is around mid 11's, ecu im running is a custom p28 with ITR fuel/ign maps with 5200 vtec/9400 rev limit
Notice the OBD-0 ****, it was a bitch finding OBD-1 stuff but I found everything (diz,tb,intake man, injectors etc..)
Removed the d16z6 (rear bracket was a bitch)
Tommorow, Ill wire everything up and put the axles/radiator back on and let my engine brake in for 1500+ miles
UGH CANT WAIT FOR VTEC
FIRST GEN B16 QUESTIONS TO OBD-1
I had to ghetto plug up about 2-3 holes in the back of the block using hose and screws, is this normal? Do I need to wire my radiator fan sensor to a manual switch in the car? (all the thermostat stuff is OBD-0)

Re: SIR 1 B16 into a Civic Cx *done soon (the_0ne)
have fun with that intake mani and the exhaust mani with a 9400 red line..... If you get an ITR intake manifold, and a Toda header you should see awesome gains. Well depends on what is inside. But with a 9400 red line and some 11 cr Id assume theres some Lumpy goodness.

the housing is cheap.. $10 part new. i had a switch wired for a while, but i never knew when to turn it one, or i'd always forget to turn it off

I had to tap stuff off with screws and hoses, its really ghetto, now I need to make a custom bracket for the throttle cable

Re: (the_0ne)
I used a 99 Civic Si throttle cable for mine, I believe I used the stock bracket. Let me find a picture of my engine bay and see if it helps.
