Re: Single cam swap(lol) (JD95hatch)

i just bought an hx. my plans are to swap in a b18b(ive got my reasons https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif ), but i plan on putting a z6 or y8 head/mani on my y5 block to use as a daily driver motor. it should grab you a little more power, but you will loose the roller rockers http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif . while this might not give you more power, it should help acceleration- get an ex tranny!! closer gear ratios are helpful in going faster.
you might run into problems with the stock harness and using the p2n ecu( i think the hx will only run on its own ecu)......sorry i cant help you more then this, but ive just started to get into this idea myself. good luck https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
