Default single cam hx owners, quick tricks

Alright i know im new to this site, and i dont have credible rep yet, but i know my **** when it comes to honda. Everybody underestimates the hx motor, as ive seen everyone arguing about the ex being faster and all that yadda yadda yadda. You guys can sit there and rub stuff in their face about you knowing the cam lobe heights and duration and lift and all that and the arguement will contine to go on, because unlike you some of those people dont take the time to do their own homework. Now i usually memorize that stuff to and do my own research, but i have much more hands on. Now the HX motor w/ the vtec-e, is said by many to be a very weak motor, not made for making power, WRONG. The vtec-e system is very very sensitive kind of vtec, nothing like the ex. As you all know the differences being in the timing of the valve openings and all that ****, that no one cares to hear about and the roller rockers, and also the spring loaded style vtec. No one cares about that lets not argue, but learn. Now you wanna see some badass power out of an hx? Take and ex computer and hook it up to an hx motor. Run 12volts to the vtec cylenoid. Then everyone come and talk to me? I am willing to bet my title of my 2 civics for sale that the hx is going to smoke the ex around 85 mph, and that the ex will not stand a chance in keeping up any longer until the computer shuts the two off.

Oh i forgot to mention that also when you hook up just the computer from and ex to an hx wait till 5500 rpms. vtec is gonna snap your neck (sarcastically). but youre definitely gonna feel that vtec.

yeah, but how does the HX head flow compared to the P08 heads? (Z6, JDM D15B)

the HX is an emissions-crazy fuel sipping motor, and the roller rockers and spring loaded VTEC (wtf is that, anyway? lol) are only really worth-while on an NA motor... nothing wrong with that, but if you really want to make a bit of horsepower on the street with a D... you're probably gonna have to boost it.

still, i respect the unique HX head. the roller rockers can accept crazy cam grinds that regular heads couldn't take. There have been posts like this on Honda-tech before. read here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=488824

HX engine+GX pistons+crazy custom cam+carbs=teh mad ****, y0!!

But he is right with the switching ECU's? Like will it produce more power than the EX, take into consideration that both are stock engine just the HX with an EX ecu.
