Default Simple Request

What is the cheapest way to make my 92 Civic DX faster? I already have an air intake and exhaust/muffler.

probably a nos system any other means of fi would be more money. getting head work done and a cam would cost more than nos. nos will give ya a quick 50 hp or more.

With a DX motor, it seems like you're going to always want more. If you plan on keeping the car over time, i'd say save up for a motor swap. That'll open a whole new realm of performance for your car. Hope that helps.

go with a motor swap, or you spend a fortune on the dx motor and find out that it's still slow

nos aint cheap. by the time you get it all the way you need it, you need more nos. do a motor swap or tubo. the parts trader always has a lot of stuff

I would go NOS. It just depends on how often you plan on using it. Not too sure a DX motor can handle the abuse of a 80 shot. And to be on the safe side just go with a 50. In the long run...either a swap or turbo would be alot better then a NOS system.
