Simple Question. OBD1 Dizzy with OBD2 ECU?
I have to swap some stuff over for inspection, and im trying to get this all sorted out.
Car is 99 civic hatch, engine is OBD1 b18C1 swap, harness and injectors/dizzy is all OBD1, harness was wired up for the obd1 swap, the ecu plugs are still OBD2, and was running a obd2>obd1 ecu conversion harness with a chipped p28.
Question is, to get rid of all the CEL's, as far as I know right now, im going to need...
1. To bypass the CKF sensor
2. Hook up secondary O2 sensor
Is there anything else the obd2 ecu is gonna look for that im not going to have?
The main question is, can i use the obd1 dizzy with the OBD2 ecu, or will it throw a code for that.. My friend is letting me donar the parts to get it inspected from his 00 SI, so i will be using a P2T ECU for the time being, and need to get all cel's cleared with that ecu for my setup.
Thanks in advance. Worse case scenario, i pull his whole engine harness and ECU and dizzy and completely swap it out with mine for the time of inspection.
