Default simple question i have no knowledge of.

any b18s / (integra Ls) engines with a cable transmission?

i just searched on the forum and google and came up with results i'm not looking for.

i'm asking because somebody is selling a complete b18 (integra Ls) for pretty good price. and i'm pretty sure it's off a DA chassis

i'm riding in a 94 del sol right now but i read somewhere on this forum

-i could not swap a cable transmissions into my del sol.
-and since it's a 94, it's illegal in california to swap older engines.

if you need a cable tranny, why not get one from a first gen b16a? (CRX / Integra)

Unless I'm mistaken, all USDM Del Sols came with hydraulic transmissions. While it's possible to switch to a cable transmission, it involves a lot of work.

You're probably better off hunting down a newer hydro transmission that'll bolt up to any B-series plant (S21, etc). Hell, you're probably better off asking for the engine's VIN, see if the engine is legal to put into your '94...
