simple auto to manual question
can anyone just confirm for me if i can use Dc integra pedals ,master cylinder and slave cyliner and hydro lines to finish up my auto to manual in my 97 civic . everything i found in search people used vehicle specific pedals and what not but does anyone know for fact if these will work out before i purchase them there the only one i can find locally .but i can kno of a eg set so if they will work in a ek can u let me know also so i know which would be the best of the two to purchase TIA
to sum it up : so either Dc or Eg will either of there pedal assbl. and clutch lines work in a ek which would be best to purchase

typically we have used vehicle specific parts to make things easier, but this info would be helpful for someone in the future if someone posts the correct answer.

yea in my past two auto to manual swaps i used vehicle specific but i cant find the parts locally to save my life so i found awesome deals on the dc parts and eg parts so i was hoping somone could chime in and confirm if i could use either of them for my ek

EG,EK and DC pedal assemblies are all the same, same goes for the master and slave cylinders. The clutch hardlines might be different though. Although as long as you have the metal coupler the bolts to the firewall you can make the lines with some brake line, compression fittings and flaring tool.

upon further investigation it appears you are correct, I could have sworn I read a thread where someone had actually used EK pedals in EG or vice versa and said they were the same. Since you know there are different, what exactly is the difference? anything important?

wow i been looking for a thread like this i been holding off my auto to man for about 4 months due to this ek pedals also hard to find in chicago .If i go to the junk yard i can get eg/dc pedals all day ..i even heard of using a eg clutch pedal and cutting the brake but thats just ghetto .....i know dc's are a lil longer also eg's look a lil shorter when it comes down to the gas and brake .I have everything ready to do it all i need are pedals ... so I would like to know also
