Silly question about top passenger mount
Hello all,
Been searching for a while, but I don't know what exactly to call it. Sorry if this has been asked before.
On the passenger side top mount (one that bolts to transmission) there is what looks like some sort of vibration damper on top of the mount, appears to be just a block of rubber. What is it called?
I am currently in the process of doing a mild to moderate engine bay clean up and tuck, I am wondering if I can just get rid of the damper piece on top of the mount? Would make the mount look a lot cleaner. I am not concerned about vibrations it may add or anything, as long as it doesn't hurt anything mechanically.
