Default A silly question!!

Hi all!! As you see I am new here from NC. My question is this.... I am currently looking for a gen 5 Civic EX but I notice everyone recommending the SI. I am looking for either the coupe or 4 door model to do my first swap with. I have already lined up a B18c complete for the project so I am wondering what the differences are between the SI and EX.

Thanks

SI is the hatchback
EX is the coupe
If you're going to do a swap try to find a vx hatch they are the lighest but if not get a cx hatch! Unless you want ac and power steering get the SI. But go for the hatch cause they are lighter!

Thanks for the reply!! Whats involved in the wiring side? I can do the mechanical swaps but how much re-wiring is required? Does the integra ECU plug right into the Civic harness?

Thanks Again...

NO QUESTION IS A SILLY QUESTION!
as for the civic, get a hatchback (VX,CX, or DX. or even Si). they are lighter than coupes so it will be faster. hatch Si has some advantages over vx,cx,dx, and those are sun-roof, 4wheel disc brakes, and a single cam VTEC motor. but since you're doing a swap that doesn't really matter. i say get an Si only if you can't live without the sunroof or something. otherwise, VX or CX. you can always swap in the disc brakes for rear. coupes are cool, but heavier.
VX or CX

I know you have to wire in a knock sensor (I have 92si) Wiring is easier cause it already came with vtec. 92Si ecu doesnt have knock sensor but b18c does .
