Signs of a worn clutch?
Are there any other signs besides slipping when a clutch is almost worn out or burnt? I still don't know why when I put heavy load on the clutch (taking off from a red light going uphill, but not taking off fast) the clutch whines a little.. My clutch isn't slipping at all. It only does that whine for about a second or 2. Once the car starts moving more than 2 mph it goes away. Or is it normal for a clutch to make some sort of whine when under load?

Well, all I know is when I swapped my engine and, like an idiot, decided not to replace/check the clutch, it slipped like crazy and made this horrible screeching sound when I drove it from a stop. If it's not slipping at all I'm not so sure if it is your clutch. Something is not getting enough fluids, to put it generally. Possibly bearings, diff, etc.

Well I thought the noise had gone away but I noticed it happens when it's pretty hot outside. It's gotten MUCH louder.. Almost sounds like a friction vibration noise between the clutch and flywheel/pressure plate. I'll try to record a vid of the sound. I tried before but the sound wasnt loud enough. Yesterday I was able to recreate the sound perfectly pulling into my driveway. I slowed down before turning into my driveway, then I turn and give it gas, release the clutch and as it's engaging it does that loudddd noise. Again.. Sound only happens when engaging clutch (when there is clutch slip under load). It doesn't do this at red lights when I take off.
What I don't understand is that I can only create this sound when I'm going slow. I try it at a stop,I pull ebrake and rev it and slowly engage clutch and no noise. It's weird.. I guess only a video can explain this... All this started happening after I wet the clutch. Maybe I warped the PP/Flywheel.. And the clutch seems to grab harder than normal.. (pr maybe it's in my head)
