Default Siemens KRANK-IT air intake?

Anyone heard of this new product? Its only for 96-00 Civic DX,LX.CX with the 1.6L D16Y7 non Vtec engine. Its a cold air intake (filter is mounted in the fender) with a box in place of that huge factory silencer that has a fan in it that blows air into the intake manifold. They claim to add 6-10hp and you can change the sound of air rushing into the manifold. JC Whitney Sport Compact has it for $399. I'm thinking of buying it for my 00 LX, but can't seem to find much info on this product. Anybody out there tested it yet? I kinda believe the 10hp gain since it has a small fan forcing air into the throttle body.

if you spend $400 on a bathroom fan, i'm gonna KILL you.
it doesnt work.
if you want more HP and you have $400 to spend, buy a nitrous kit.

ok for an honest reply.

do not buy this , it is a waste of money and does not work.
that "fan" idea is just a load of bullshit,
it may sound like it would work, but are you an automotive engineer? no, so dont believe everything that you think "sounds about right"

listen to the hondatech brethren they'll steer you right.

this is a waste of your money.
