sidemolding removal?
Have a 94 ex coupe. just got my thin side moldings, and my genious locals can't figure out how to take the old molding off without breaking every single clip. is there a way to remove the old molding without braking the holding clips?

you gotta take off the door panels then rip through the plastic barrier that keeps water from molding out your panels! thats when you'll see the clips give them a sqeeze and pop them out.

Re: (SuicideSlide)
so its better to just break them off and leave the clips rattling inside the door?
i say do it right it doesnt hurt to clean the insides of your doors while you're at it and inspect for any rust that might be forming. plus the moisture barrier might be dried out and need replaced anyway.

No its not good to just leave em in the door lol I did that and left one in my door. I cant hear or see it though.
What i did was bend the **** out of the moulding till the blue clip was visible and use needlenose plyers & a flat head if i had trouble getting them out. For the fenders you can remove a couple screws from the weather guard in the wheel well and just pinch them out with the plyers..
