The CX came with no side moldings.
If your car has side moldings then when you take them off you'll have little square holes along the groove.
Side moldings are clipped on not taped on.

Are you sure about that. I thought I read somewhere that there are two types. Clips whihc most people have and tape versions.

People who have no side moldings (CX models) probably use Double sided tape to put them on rather than putting holes in their car. But the first poster is right. They didn't have a tape version stock.

well that sucks - my moldings look pretty bad but I guess it's better than having holes all down the car

Nice work man - that post was great. . . my only problem is theres parts of my molding (on the door right before the fender) that have kind of seperated from the caps - looks like its rusting - so painting them isn't going to make them flush again. Guess I just need new moldings.

Yeah I'd plan on buying new moldings then. You can't go wrong with new ones because it can only make the car look newer/cleaner.
They are not cheap though
Try http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for the moldings.
