Side Moldings????

Side Moldings????
Has anyone on here ever removed the exterior side moldings and filled them in to be flush? If so, whats better...bondo or auto foam? Please help, plan on doing withing the next 2 days...

anything to me is better than bondo... but i use rage gold personally, never tried it to fill in for a big job like that though..
but,
in all out honestly (especially if you're going to do this to a 92-95 civc, or ANY civic for that matter) KEEP THE SIDE MOLDINGS...
at times its pretty cool, but most of the time i kept thinking how much nicer the car would look to me if it DID have side moldings..
plus if i had a penny for ALL the times ive heard "would look better with side moldings" or some phrase similar to that, then id have the money and then some to put it back..
..i regret my old car like that

Yeah...i just see a lot of 92-95's round oahu and wanted something different. I kinda understand where you coming from about the look though, but do you think it would be different with black base?

the correct way to fill in the molding slot would be to have some sheet metal welded in its place. bondo and any kind of filler will crack in time.
