For the fronts, I think you need to grind down the calipers to make it fit or you can run spacers. Funny thing is, I was just looking at the HX wheels thread on here and just got that info, lol.

You don't happen to be picking up a set of bronze HXs?

yeah, not going to lie i was too lazy to search it. mine are factory silver, my family runs a big car restoration company and we have access to powder coating and im thinking either champ white or a gun metal.

me peronally I wouldn't power coat the SI wheel then you will lose value in the wheels. Then if you happen to curb them then you will have to repowder coat them. But thats just me.

^He's not talking about the Si wheels. He's asking if HX wheels can fit in his Si...

But yeah. I think HX wheels in white looks so good. I'm actually looking for a set for my EM1 and painting them white. It's hard to find a clean set nowadays. I say go for white.

Hope I answered your question.

The 99-00 Si and the 96-00 EX have the larger front brakes (10.2" rotors) so if the HX wheels are 13" they definitely won't fit and if they are 14" they will probably fit but the caliper corners MAY have to be ground slightly.

But if you are goin for looks then thats the way to go. black on black just looks dead. I mean it looks nice but too dark. brighten it up. doesn't mean your black rims aren't gonna get stolen. They will if someone wants it.
