lookin for some rubber for my 99 si rims. basically some basic engine mods. i/h/e. dropped on GC about 2". anyone got any recs i want something that will last, btw any sites that i can get em cheap.

btw what is the max width and profile i should go with. 205 45 15?

i was thinkin Falken Ziex Ze-512 or Toyo Proxes 4

neogens... or my personal fav. ... Goodyear... i've also seen some crazy dunlop tires too...

I have the 205/45/16 Nito NT450 They seem to work very well. Almost 10,000 miles and look new.

id say get some kumho 712's. i had the ziex 502's (the old 512's) and they were good for treadlife, but i thought they coulda been better for everything else

i had kuhmo's on my 17's, and although they performed well, i got alot of bubbles in them, and yes i kept them inflated properly, i dono if all tires do that but they were my first set. i had nitto on them after that and they slipped more than the kuhmo (their more for drifting) but kept up better i thaught, now i have toyo and im pretty happy, must say tho i thaught the kuhmo performed better but the side walls also scraped my wells more than the toyo and nitto did b/c of the straight side walls

azenis are the shit on dry pavement, but not so hot in the rain, and death in the snow, i got ES100's on my si rims, and i love them, 195/50/15, no tire noise, no shakiness, and they grip like no tomorrow, i cant even chirp tire anymore, definitely a plus

damn this tire place must have been dumb as shit. i told the guy i had SI rims and he said i cant fit lower than 19/55/15 on em. i was like man my car is dropped i need a lower profile. he was like not on those rims. any ways i what size should i go for w. a 1/5-2" drop??

im riding si wheels with 195/50, with a 2.75" in the front and a 2.5" in the back, no rubbing at all, you might even be able to cut something bigger like a 205/50/15 if you wanted only a 2" drop, but anything more would probably rub
