if your spedometer does not work then you need to take out the cluster and look at the wire harnness on the back and see if it is hooked up. if it is and you still got that problem then you need a new cluster

what?? this is wrong

its most likely the VSS, did you drive thru water recently?
go into your engine bay, and located on top of the transaxle is the VSS sensor, unplug it, take it out, take a hair dryer, and just blow the sensor and the harness plug..

its hard to explain where it is, just look at the tranny from the right side of the car, you'll see it then.

I really just need to know how to get to the gauges, as if I were changing guages...even if thats not the problem. I have to get back there to mess w/ some other stuff too.

k, take out the 4 way button
then unplug that connection

then pop out the gauge cover thing (has all your vents in it)
the cluster comes out with 3 screws behind all that

very very basic
