Default si guage cluster question

will any tach motor work in an si guage cluster? I am curious because I have an si cluster but the tach is broke. Instead of wasting a bunch of money I wanted to by like and lx cluster or something and swap them out. Will this work since the redlines are different?

Yes, it will work to answer your question. However, the redlines are different. If you have a B-series (which I assume since you have an Si cluster), you'll be revving way past the LX/EX redline to reach your redline. I bought a new tach from Honda is cost approximately $70 because my friend's tach was broken as well.

This is how I broke the other tach. The needle is stuck on the pin really good. Trying to remove the needle will break your gauge.
