Si front upper strut bar

Re: Si front upper strut bar (00 EK9)
center it on your shock towers and drill holes. Use bolts, nuts, washers to mount it.
If you look at the top of your shock towers, you should see some faint indentations. that is about where you want to mount it.

No problem. The SI is the only 96-2000 civic that actually came with the studs from the factory to mount the tower bar.

sorry to bring this back from the dead so the bolts that are in the inner fenders can not be bought?
So do you just use any type of nut and bolt combo that will fit though the stock holes?
Thanks

yea, you just lay the bar out, drill some holes, and put nut and bolts on.
it's easier then changing oil

Re: Si front upper strut bar (JICEK9)
I wrote this up for my EG really just as an excuse to take pictures. It already had the holes but the process should be pretty much the same.

? 96-00 Civic? You mean 99-00?
What do you mean studs? As I recall I just took off the bolts on the strut tower and put the bar on, and re-replaced the bolts.
