SI emblem on cluster glow?

SI emblem on cluster glow?
i have seen the thread before but i cannot find it. i searched "glow" and "si cluster" but nothing came up. on the 99-00 si guage cluster the si how do you make it light up? if u know where the thread is please post it. thanks!

Remove the backing of the cluster where the SI is - acetone on a q*tip
The person that had the si cluster before me, did this and I had to use several layers of paint and e- tape to cover it back

or u can just sand it down with 600 grit sandpaper. i did my whole cluster, come out pretty nice, just watch it because i can sand the amber color off as well

what you mean sand the whole cluster what actuall part do you sand i want to make sure before i mess it up thanks!

You need to remove the coating from behind the Si symbol so the light can penetrate it and make it glow. You can use sandpaper or acetone as stated above.
