should tie rod dust boot have grease in it
boot is ripped and leaking "grease" but someone said it shouldn,t be full of lube, so does it or does it not have grease in it, cuz if not something is leaking elsewhere,
Goo inside boot looks and feels like grease

you need to replace your axle if the boot is ripped.
now that its ripped open dirt and rocks will destroy it...

reading the title would help you.....don't listen to anything that person has to say if they think tie rod joints should not have lube inside. Axles do not need to be replace if the boot has ripped it all depends on the length of time the joint has been exposed/condition of the CV joint itself and how the repair is performed.

This has nothing to do with the cv axle boot, it;s the tie rod dust boot i'm talking about, already replaced cv boot's about two months ago
