Re: Should I trade? (nocaryet)
i would because im all about EK hatchbacks (check sig) ,..but you gots to really think about how hard that car was ran by the owner,...i would really check it out before you decide

Re: Should I trade? (JDM CTR EK)
i would do it, i love ek hatchback's its already have a swaps ,what can you ask fo? but check the blue book value of your car first, then add the 3000 and see if you can get a ek hatch wit' b18c5 swap, i'd rather do that, start from scratch and you get more respect coz' you build it yourself....thats how it works here in atl. GEORGIA, if you bought a fix car already people dont respect you at all....trust me.

i say it depends on what you want....if you really want a hatch tehn i would do it...i am all about ek's so i personally would go for it...but you would probably get more out of it if you built your coupe...then you would know how hard it has been driven...and know that the work has been done right.....does this car come with 2 sets or wheels?

the miles on that coupe arent bad for a 98. Since I too am an EK hatch supporter, I would get it. But thats just me though. A gsr hatchie SOUNDS tempting

ok, both cars, stock are worth about the same amount of money. then, the engine swap alone is worth $3k. basically, you're getting all the extras for free. i say go for it.

its a lot cheaper though, to get a car that's already built. the engine swap alone would run him around $3.5k + installation. there's also the 2 sets of rims, the cf hood, and the other stuff. he'll be paying only $3k for all of the mods. plus, the hatch is much better looking imo than the coupe.

yup, if that deal was offered to me i'd already be driving the hatch, without consulting h-t about it first.

Re: (civicdxtyper)
hell yea i would. ur basically getting way more then ur moneys worth...the motor alone would probably cost $3000. and it comes with 2 sets of nice rims. it's not like ur stock dx coupe has mods.

Re: (nocaryet)
ever wonder why he wanted to trade???? consider the fact that people in my area sell their hybrids for 3-4 grand not just because they can never get value for their cars but what about that the motor isnt legit? imma not tryin to rain on ur parade but make sure it is just in case....

you said it as if it was already on the car. no, 96-98 front end parts won't fit on a 99. and yes, you should check the history of the engine first.
