Should I replace the thermostat when replacing the radiator?
The shop suggested replacing the thermostat when replacing the radiator.
I am going to do the work myself.
Should I automatically replace the thermostat and thermoswitch as well?

If you feel it's suspect, sure.
Personally, I would, fluid already will be drained, hoses unplugged, may as well save some time later on and do it, I'd also replace the hoses.
But again, that's personal preference.
