Default Should I replace the thermostat when replacing the radiator?

The shop suggested replacing the thermostat when replacing the radiator.
I am going to do the work myself.

Should I automatically replace the thermostat and thermoswitch as well?

If you feel it's suspect, sure.

Personally, I would, fluid already will be drained, hoses unplugged, may as well save some time later on and do it, I'd also replace the hoses.
But again, that's personal preference.

Thanks. The hoses will certainly be replaced.

I don't have a torque wrench. How necessary is that for replacing the thermostat?

not too much force. think valve cover bolt. as long as its snug your good. dont go all hulk mode on it. worst case it leaks and you tighten it a bit more.
