I gutted mine so I wouldn't have to carry passengers around and I firmly believe that EG/EH hatches SHOULD have been 2 seaters.

No, because you'd still be slow anyways.

I have nothing in the back of my hatch. Half the reason was because I put in a new fuel pump and didn't feel like putting the seats back in, other reason is because it made it a bit lighter and I really don't need back seats anyways.

Yes, if you plan on bringing it to a drag strip and track & don't want anyone in your car.

No, if you plan to drive it daily cause there is no point. And NO, because if you think it will make you lighter to race on the street. It's illegal.

Bitches don't dig bare-bones car. I hope you don't get out much... or have another car.

My reasoning for gutting is because my car is so damn low if I have 4 people it will bottom out and scrape anything in the road. An In n Out cup was stuck under my car last night thats how ******* low it is.

my car gets gutted from time to time. But if you do gut the car get ready to listen to all sorts of rattles and noise.

Gutting the rear section of your hatch will allow you to lose 100 lbs MAX. So if you're only reason is because your car is too low, then maybe you should think about raising it instead of gutting it.

I think you should, cus I just got my hatch done with an engine swap, and I gutted the inside of the car. just clean it really good and it looks sweet. And who cares if girls don't like it gutted, its your ride,so let it fly....

I wouldn't, but if you do the road noise will be much louder. And as said above, you will hear every squeak and rattle your car has.

Raise the car back up.

Gutting the car doesn't give you any real weight savings anyway.

Since when is it illegal? I've been pulled over numerous times with my hatch gutted. I just tell them I'm prepping it to get painted

Are you being Sarcastic? If you are the LOL.

If not then:I don't think you understood. NO, because if you think it will make you lighter to race on the street. It's illegal.

Was trying to mean that if he wanted to gut it for some streetracing. Streetracing is illegal. That's what I meant.
