Should I get this SI?
I have a 99 GSR but am dont want to use it for work since we have to use our own cars for work now. Saw an ad for a 93 SI with 100,100 miles for 4500. It's an ugly green teal color and got some slight rear bumper separation (i'd say about .5-1 inch). I dont know how long these SIs last. Prob need a clutch soon. I have 70,000 miles on my gsr and it is like new still with no problems. What do you guys think?

uhm, si didnt come in green teal...
but the vx did so you're probably looking at a vx and not an si.
and yes the vx had vtec but it was the weak economy vtec...
but i say the price is too high for a 93...
probably 2-3's, but 4500 is being raped

Not in 93s Pennie, you may be thinking about the newer SIs.
Back to addressing the question:
But I do not think it's a good deal. FWIW, I picked up my 99 Civic DX for $4300 with some 17s I sold for $600. Have you looked at the Cars for Sale here? Much better deals there...

Re: Should I get this SI? (preludexl)
I bought my 92 Si with 120k for $4000, edmunds.com quoted the fair market value at around $5500.
I don't think $4500 is bad for an Si with 100k, particularly in my area. Try to talk the guy down of course.
Anyway, I love my Si the D16z6 is a fun motor.

Re: Should I get this SI? (The AntiRice)
it all depends on location and whos selling, a car isnt worth anything w/o a buyer, personally i only paid 800 for my si hatch, it had high miles but thats why i got it so i can swap a motor

I got my 93 Si, stock black for 3,500 hundred with 56K miles. Granted it was through a friend of a relative, so I guess I lucked out.
