should i get forced induction
would it be worth it to get a turbo kit for an eg civic si (D16Z6) with 144k miles? the engine still runs perfect and is still healthy...i seen a pretty inexpensive greddy turbo kit with a TD04 turbo and i was wondering if my engine could handle it if i pushed only like..6 or 7 pounds of boost.

it all depends on what your plans are with the car in the future, if you plan on turboing, 6-7 pounds of boost wont do you well for long. you will want more and more power (who doesn't) and before you know it you would have spent $2-3 g's on motor work. Thats usually what people do. if you search, there is alot of info that will tell you about turboing the D, and if you cant find what you want there is always TurboD16.com

well, if i get a turbo kit...i'll get one that will fir my D16 and also a B16...so one day when i get a swap i could just switch it over....i dont know though if the stock engine would be able to hand the boost.

no
different turbos for those engines, different exhaust manifolds, different ECU control, different oiling setup, different intake setups (TB diameter / position)
if you dont know this much about turbos you need to read, then ask, then do.... not just ask then do.
you could of course just get a different exhaust manifold when you get the B, but you're looking at having the worst setup ever with mismatching parts and wrong everything.
