Default Shorter Length shifter

Does anyone make a shorter length shifter that doesn't change the throw so that it keeps the stock feel?

Dual bend I *think* is a little shorter.
If not, you could always cut it and re thread it yourself if you have the proper equipment.

That being said, wtf is that project!?

...
How do you not have a build thread already here??

And no, I can assure you, the shifter is not hollow, I can deliver pics if you want proof before you go slicing into it.

I have a build thread on 2 other forums. Another one would just be too much work.

Trust you on the shifter ; )

It's an ebay brand I believe, but F1 Sports makes one that will work. It doesn't really affect the throw too much, but it makes the shifter straight up and down, no bend, and doesn't come up as high..

edit: DAMN IT!!! I NEED a street legal version of that, just sayin'...

Good, there is a build-thread link. You can't show us teaser pictures like that without a build thread. That thing looks wicked...i want one! I plan to read your build thread top to bottom and save it for a rainy day. My buddy and I have been tossing around the idea of building an ariel atom-type gokart thing and this will serve as great inspiration

Also, B&M makes a straight stick that is not very tall.

I kind of find it odd that you have the drive and resources to design and build a project like this but shortening a shift lever has you dead in the water.

My thoughts exactly, but it can happen to the best of us... OP post pics of the completed project! Good luck!
