short shifter question???
well, i took my shifter apart to install my new short shifter in and i forgot how it all goes together...it's all tooken apart right now.
Does # 8 go inside of #12?
after that you slide the #1 shifter from the bottom of the #12 bushing and #8 should be sitting above the shifter ball?
thanks

The rubber thing should be on the ball not above, I think

i just installed a shortshifter in mine, and when i took my old one off.. 8 was going around the ball..8 goes underneath 12.. so 8 is on inside of the rubber... its easyer to go up from the T part on the shifter.. just work with it... also make sure its greased good... it helps it slide on better.
