that lil sensor mounted in the rubber grommet in your intake is not an o2 sensor, its a temp sensor. my short ram doesn't whistle either, my guess is that sound comes from those cheapy filters that come with the ebay specials.

the whistle could possibly be a leak between one of the silicone hoses.

a lot of the people on here dont know anything, just ignore the unfortante.

the whistle you are most likely talking about is when the butterfly in your throttle body is open a certain percent. mine has been the same with a 2.5'' AEM CAI and a 3'' Integra short ram (both with K&N filters) on my EJ8

Makes a nice throaty sound, especially at WOT.

Can be annoying sometimes, but I quike like them.

I had an aem short ram on my d15 and it made more of a sucking noise. It reminded me of a vacuum. The noise changed slightly once I took the stock resonator out tho.

i got aem w/ a d15 and when it idles it whistles a little when cold, and if i hit the gas then let off quick it sounds like a turbo. just not as loud and cool sounding. i checked all the clamps on mine and made sure everithing met together after i heard it and nothing was loose or seperated. i took out the resinator also
