hi ok i just installed an AEM short ram intake into a 99 ex auto. i took it for a test drive and it just died on me the battery light went on. but then i tapped the negative battery connector and it was fine. my friend told me i should restart the ecu i just wanted to get a 2nd opion on this. any help would b good thxs.

first check your battery conections, make sure there tight. and secondly a short ram intake wouldent cause your car to die

u sure u didnt disconnect something while u put the short ram..? like o5mar1 said it wouldnt cause your car to die... then again it might be coincedence but make sure u check your battery connections and see if theyre corroded good luck

well im modifying it cause this car was a gift so im making the most of it lol. ya the battery was fine but the lights was still on when it died but i havent had another problem yet so i guess im fine. thxs fo the help.
