Shopping list for new car, what do you guys think, JDM ?
just got a 1999 Civic hatchback and wanted to trink it out with some extra money
i wanted to have it just all mad jdm, a true street machine.. flat out ill
mugen lips body kit (carbon fiber cause its lighter for racing)
spoon oil cap(again lighter for racing)
spoon mirrors(again lighter for racing)
TEIN Racing Shocks(green from japan, has many settings)
mugen valve cover(i think its lighter)
Spoon CF Duckbill(lighter and creates aerodynamic illness)
spoon tow hook in the rear(jdm) bennen(racing) tow hook in the front
JDM b16a (Orignal jdm racing motor)
Spoon exhaust (adds 12 hp and is jdm)
WORK Equip 03 rims (light weight 15" rim)
now i think this will be a sweeet street setup, i'll prob run a high 15 second quater mile, but i can make up getting beat by stock ford probes by flossing the rims.
sound like a good way to spend 6 grand ?
if you guys could pick diffrent combo of parts to spend my 6 grand on, that might be hotter and more jdm let me know

i think a k20 is a bit out of the budget the engine alone is 5.6k and thenn all the crap to make it work
im going to do a k20a swap when i get back from iraq though but then again ill have 20 g's to blow

omg....this is pathetic in every way, shape, and form.
Alright, I can say a shitload right now as there's no difference between you and the guy who loads his car up with ebay upgrades :-\.
In the meanwhile, why don't you start by getting a real motor. By hatch I assume you mean the DX with the Y7 motor in it? Get a bigger ******* engine. THe spoon sports exhaust won't mean **** on that engine - sure as hell won't give you 12hp. - B series, maybe, not on a D16Y7.
I'd upgrade, either go turbo, or get a different engine, My advice is to either boost 10-13lbs on stock internals (or upgrade the interanls to run more) or buy a GSR and work NA from there.
Don't go super NA upgrades on your D series b/c that just don't work.
You said though you wanted the B16a.
waste.
You put all that stuff on a boosted Y7 (with stock internals) and it'll throw down more power than all that stuff on a naturally aspired B16a - JDM or not.
Get the boost taken care of, then when ur throwin down 200-225whp (depending if u decide to upgrade the internals or not u could go higher) then start worrying about the aftermarket ****, like the mugen valve cover, (btw the weight of the valve cover isn't gonna make a difference worth of ****...), and the tein coilovers, and the spoon mirrors, and all that ****.
Though I have to say you're a bit dillusional. Spoon oil cap? mugen valve cover? spoon tow hook?
First of all, those are all aesthetics, any weight losses you get from changing them are comparable to just taking the loose change out of your pocket. As far as the towhook goes, if you're trying to stay as light as possible, why go w/ extra ****?
So I say boost that lil bitch and then start workin on your spoon exhaust, those rims, the cf duckbill, the coilovers, the mirrors, and the cf body kit....
Although I'd also recommend b4 all that other **** a CF hood - that'll save you more than a CF duckbill. weight wise.

Psssst!
This is an attempt to belittle every kid that comes in here asking what JDM **** he needs to add to his car for H-T's approval.
It's a joke, and he forgot the sarcasm tags.
